If you randomly trip over something, and everybody immediately goes "OH MY GOD ARE YOU HURT?! SHOULD WE CALL AN AMBULANCE?!"...
...That's how you know you've gotten old.
If you randomly trip over literally nothing, everybody beats you up, and then you get thrown off a cliff...

Not part of the original post, but for context: In Brawl, characters randomly trip while running, which is a rather... infamous gameplay mechanic.
